MDS operators discussed with OKTE and SEPS
On 30 March 2011 held a special seminar for local distribution systems (MDS) operators which was organized by sféra, a.s., with the support and active participation of OKTE, a.s. 101 participants and 62 companies attended the seminar.
The main themes of the seminar were changes in the energy legislation, which came into force on 1 January 2011 and fundamentally change, modify or supplement the obligations for MDS operators. In addition to the general definition of a legislative framework presented by Ing. Martin Liška (sféra, a.s.) were presented obligations relating to the communication between MDS operators with other subjects on the market, to provide data and responsibilities when consumers change their electricity supplier. Ing. Peter Čulen, representative of OKTE, a.s. explained an obligation of the MDS operator to communicate with OKTE, a.s. as the Supplement of imbalances, and obligation to report measured data for the purpose of settlement of imbalances occurring only with the change of electricity supplier in MDS. Mgr. Libor Láznička, MBA (sféra, a.s.) explained how it is possible to report the data. More discussion requested obligation to report daily the summary data about the quantities consumed and distributed electricity to transmission system operator. Ing. Stanislav Dudášik, representative of SEPS, a.s. explained in detail what and how information should be reported.
