Taking Industrial Maintenance to the Next Level with XR Technologies

At the Maintenance for Top Managers 2025 conference, which traditionally welcomes its participants at the Liblice Castle (CZ), we once again spoke as part of the professional program. This time, our colleagues Matúš Pružinec and Marián Špacír focused on the topic of using XR technologies as part of modern maintenance in industrial enterprises. The advanced functionalities of the XMatik®/EAM solution related to its connection to the XMatik®/SPACE system were presented.

Our colleagues impressed with demonstrations of the key advantages of the system, which include the ability to insert 3D objects into an AR scene by users without programming knowledge, the ability to create and edit AR scenes by multiple users simultaneously, full-fledged work in offline mode with subsequent automatic synchronization after connecting to the Internet, compatibility with a wide range of devices - from computers and tablets to smartphones and AR/VR glasses, and more.

Our participation stimulated discussion on the practical benefits of XR technologies in industrial maintenance, and the innovations presented inspired participants to discuss digitalisation and more efficient asset management.
