Free MicroStation PowerDraft for education

Bentley Systems, Incorporated, one of the most significant partners of Sféra, a.s., announced on January 6th, 2005, that as a part of expanding the recently commenced programme, "You Deserve Better" (focussed on providing help to AutoCAD users who have to cope with the forced ending of AutoCAD version support), that they will now provide MicroStation PowerDraft software to all students and education staff free of charge. This offer will help apprentice schools, high schools, universities and vocational schools to solve the problem of maintaining hardware upgrades.MicroStation PowerDraft is a professional application used for creation of sketches and detailed drawings. It is equipped with a user friendly graphic interface, intuitive browsing processes and innovative sets of tools that surpassed industry standards. MicroStation PowerDraft can serve as a perfect tool for MicroStation, a universal platform for 3-D modelling, dynamic data processing and team building productivity and application development.

The free software includes a complete guide with step by step exercises that enables students to familiarize themselves with the MicroStation PowerDraft system and basic CAD systems. Moreover, there is a tutorial featuring a plan for CAD, basic projection and comparative CAD introduction.
