SFÉRA participates in the 20th year of National Forum on Maintenance

International Conference National Forum on Maintenance 2021 is one of the most well-known events in the field of maintenance in Slovakia. Goal of the conference is to bring up-to-date information at a high professional level and to create suitable conditions for experience exchange of experts from Slovakia and foreign countries. Among topics of the 20th year of the conference, which took place on October 26-27, 2021 in Trnava, were progressive maintenance technologies, safety and the environment in maintenance, predictive maintenance, diagnostics and information systems in maintenance.

Ing. Marek Molnár, SFÉRA's sales manager, presented the possibilities of virtual, augmented reality and solutions developed by our company with real project demonstrations. In his lecture, he showed the extensive possibilities of using modern technologies in industry, as well as tools for digitization of business processes and maintenance support.

Following solutions were presented during the presentation:

• Effective training with virtual reality. Technology enables to create a comprehensive training center that can fit on one computer. With this type of training, future production construction can be visualized or a crisis situation simulated. Timely and correct response of staff saves resources and prevents more serious accidents
• Augmented reality allows you to display technical parameters of machines in space in real time. Parameters can be operational data or scheduled maintenance data.
• Combination of VR and AR is suitable for the design and engineering of the technology. Our real-time solution connects the designer with developer on site in the given production hall.
• Augmented reality mobile application will also serve as a methodical aid that is capable of expanding any printed material with an interactive dimension.

Above-mentioned solutions are one of the tools in the digitalization of companies and they will find their place and application in practice. Positive feedback has shown that our professional solutions reach a high level with current trends.
