The implementation of intraday auctions required the expansion of our system

In mid-June, the European single electricity market underwent a significant innovation with the launch of three Intraday Auctions. This development was also tied to the expansion of our XMtrade®/ISOT system, operated by the short-term electricity market operator, OKTE, a.s.

Our IT team took a professional approach to the system expansion and completed this task. Robert Maier, Executive Director of the Development division, remarked: "For our team, it is always gratifying to see how our IT system contributes to achieving our customers' expected goals. We consider intraday auctions to be an important step towards a more digital energy sector, which enhances opportunities for market participants while also opening up space for new players."
